Effective date: July 2026. This privacy policy describes how CDL Prep Hub ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information from visitors who use the practice tests, study guides, and other content on this site.

Information we collect

CDL Prep Hub does not require you to create an account. You can take any practice test on this site without registering, providing an email address, or sharing any personal information. We do not store your practice-test answers, your score, or any record of which pages you visited that ties back to you.

Like virtually every modern website, our hosting provider records standard server log data — your IP address, the page you requested, the timestamp, and the user-agent string of your browser. We use this data only to monitor site performance, debug errors, and identify abusive traffic. Standard server logs are rotated and discarded on a rolling schedule.

Cookies

This site itself does not set tracking cookies. If we display advertising in the future through Google AdSense or a similar network, those advertising partners may set their own cookies according to their own privacy policies. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not affect the practice-test functionality of this site.

Advertising

We may display advertising to keep this site free. If we use Google AdSense, Google's policies govern how it personalizes ads and uses cookies. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Ad placeholder slots are clearly marked in the HTML so the site remains transparent about where ads are shown.

Third-party links

We link out to government sites such as FMCSA, AAMVA, and individual state DMVs. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately if you submit information to them.

Children

This site is intended for adults pursuing a Commercial Driver's License (minimum age 18 for intrastate, 21 for interstate). It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes materially, we will update the effective date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
